Last Days of Summer

We soaked in the last days of summer at a friend's cabin in northern NH, just under the border. Simone loved hanging out by the lake (that's her little head peeking through, with Lynn):

Our car broke down on the way home and we were stuck overnight at a hunting lodge:

At school (aka daycare) they hung Simone's blob along with the older kids' artwork --

First Week of "School"!

(She did great the first week, though she had a moment of anxiety as we left the house this morning -- pobrecita.)
